Gospel Classes
What are the Gospel Classes?
Our body must be united in our core beliefs, these classes give you an opportunity to dig into what we believe as a church, what we believe to be very important, and in which areas we believe God allows freedom.
These are great classes for those thinking about joining our body or those looking to learn more about the Bible and who God is. This is just one of the ways we make sure you'll be at home at Living Faith and one of the ways we equip our body to strengthen their faith.
What is Gospel 101?
This class is designed to be one of the first points of connections for those considering Living Faith as tehir church home, for a season or for a lifetime. It also serves as the biblical overview of the foundation from which our theology and community springs. Content of the class includes an overview of our church and our core values, with a doctrinal exploration of the Scriptures, God, Creation, Sin, Salvation, Stewardship, and Spiritual Gifts. This class explores basic, biblical theology and how this teaching plays out philosophically and practically in the way we embody the gospel to the spheres of influence in which we live and do life.
This is a 4 week course (Four Sundays before worship @ 8:15 am).
Check the event calendar to see when it will be offered next.
Who should take Gospel 101?
Gospel 101 is open to everyone. If it's your first week at Living Faith, if you believe in Jeus or not, this introductory class is a great place to get started for those who are merely curious and for those who are excited to get connected. We DO ask that everyone considering Living Faith to be their church take this class to assess how they feel about God, the gospel, and what we believe, praying for discernment and growth as they choose a local body of believers to call their family.
What is Gospel 102?
This class takes you further and deeper than Gospel 101. We go in depth into our mission and our calling as a body. We dig deeper into the Bible and deeper into theological questions and beliefs.
This is a 4 week course (Four Sundays before worship service @ 8:15am).
Check the event calendar to see when it will be offered next.
Who should take Gospel 102?
Same group that should take Gospel 101, but we recommend you take Gospel 101 before Gospel 102 (trust us, you'll want to take 101 first).
What if I want to be a member of Living Faith?
Gospel 101 is required to become a member, we ask anyone interested in becoming a member to wakl with us through our foundational theology. Whether you became a Christian 12 seconds ago or have a Msters in Divinity. To be effective as a body and individually we must be united....you need to know who we are and where we are going and we need to equip you with the basics of our foundational beliefs in order to be impactful in our community and united as a body.
