Deliver, Develop, Deploy Classes
What are the Deliver, Develop and Deploy Classes?
As an eldership, our desire is to see our church family grow up into Christ Jesus. Our class structure is designed to help individuals be delivered from the domain of darkness, be developed into maturing followers of Jesus Christ and ultimately be deployed into the works of service Jesus has designed them to fulfill.
These classes are a good first point of connection for those attending Living Faith, for a season or for a lifetime. Together, these classes serve as a biblical overview of the foundation from which our church's theology and community springs. Whether you are considering joining our church family as members or simply desirous to learn more about the Bible and who God is, these classes can serve as a great means of spiritual growth. This is just one of the ways we make sure you'll be at home at Living Faith and one of the ways we equip our body to strengthen their faith.
What if I want to be a member of Living Faith?
Ephesians 4:11-15 (NASB95) "11 And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ. 14 As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming: 15 but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, 16 from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love."
The first 3 classes in our Deliver, Develop, Deploy series are a requirement to becoming a member of Living Faith; we ask anyone interested in becoming a member to walk with us through our foundational theology. Whether you become a Christian yesterday, or have a Masters in Divinity, there are no exceptions. To be effective as a church family and individually we must be united. As a wise steward of your life, you should know who we are as a church family and where we are going as a church family. As an eldership we are called by God to equip you with the basics of our foundational beliefs in order that we effectively impact our spheres of influence in our community and maintain unity as a church family.
What is the Journey to Freedom Class?
The Journey to Freedom Class is the first installment in our Deliver, Develop, Deploy class series. This class is a foundational piece to understanding the deliverance made possible through the Cross of Christ. Because the Cross is so central to the Christian life, in this class the Cross is the unifying theme in each lesson and the Encounter Retreats. This class is designed to help you as you begin and continue your "new life" in Christ. The classes will take you "to the cross" by preparing you for a life-changing Encounter Retreat. Then you will be taken "through the cross" and learn how to "continue with the cross" as you participate in the weekend retreat. Ultimately the classes should be a catalyst into gaining and maintaining the freedom you will discover at the Encounter Retreat.

What is the Firm Foundation Class?
The Firm Foundation Class is the second installment in our Deliver, Develop, Deploy series. In this class we explore the elementary teachings described in Hebrews 6:1-3. If your desire is to learn how to build correctly upon the foundation of Christ, then this class is for you!
Anyone who desired God's best for their life must begin by building a strong foundation. Jesus declared these words, "Everyone who comes to Me and hers My words and acts on them, I will show you whom he is like: he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid a foundation on the rock; and when a flood occurred, the torrent burst against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built." Luke 6:47-48 He them contrasted this wise man with one who was foolish, who heard but failed to act on what he heard and found himself living in a house built on sand.
Both had their works tested by the storms of life-storms that come even more often in today's uncertain world. Our desire as an eldership is to see our church family build and maintain a strong foundation upon which God can build the kingdom into their lives.

Becoming a member of Living Faith?
Romans 12:1-5 (NASB95) 1 Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. 3 For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself that he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith. 4 For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function, 5 so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.
As christians, we are members of God's household (Ephesians 2:19) called to function, participate and minister in a particular place within the body of Christ. A healthy body requires that each member do its part well. A healthy church requires the same: members that are sacrificially committed and well-equipped to do the works of service that God has prepared in advance for us to do (Ephesians 2:10; 4:12). Living Faith holds its members in high regard. Members function as the primary missionaries of the gospel to the culture. God, in His sovereignty, placed us in this city, among these people, in this century for a reason (Acts 17:26-27).
